Game Variations: Single Stroke
|
This is the simplest of all formats. Every
shot counts, which can be difficult if a player is having a bad day.
This format is used in major tournament golf throughout the world.
Key Features: Single Stroke |
It is a true test of a golfers ability
to play 18 holes.
Rounds tend to be longer because every shot has to be counted.
It is the simplest form of all the variations. Your marker
simply writes down the score you have on each hole and then
adds up each nine to get your final gross score. Your handicap
is then subtracted to get your final nett score.
The lowest score wins. |
