Driver and/or Shaft Fitting

Long bombs! Fairway finders! Maybe you just want to get off the tee? This is the essential driver fit for you. Got a driver head you love but not sure about the shaft? Let us dial the optimal shaft for your existing head.

We all want more distance from our Driver. Well, that and greater accuracy and control of the shot shape, as well as being able to predict what the ball will do in different areas of the club-face. Too much to ask right? Wrong.

That's what we do, and we do it better than anyone.

Being fit with the wrong Shaft on your Driver and to your swing could be contributing to poor performance in your drives off the tee. Custom fitting a shaft and understanding the role it plays in your swing path and effect on the ball could be the difference between you being 1 to 25m off the trajectory you had intended.

The key here is consistency. If you're constantly adjusting other things when you're hitting Driver to achieve different outcomes (draw/fade/avoid slice/avoid top) what you really need is consistency in the hardware you're using and therefore predictable and reliable drives.

Bring in the Driver and the Shaft you're currently using and we'll fit you for a new Shaft. Or... thinking about both a new Driver + Shaft? Awesome - things are about to go next level.

We're proud to offer a range of over 60 custom Shafts from all the major manufacturers - Mitsubishi, Project X, Fujikura, Graphite Design, Dynamic Gold and more. It's highly likely you'll walk out with a Shaft + Driver that nobody else in Perth owns - how's that for personalisation?

Longest Iron to Shortest Wedge

How long has it been since you knew exactly how far you hit each of your Irons?

If you're at the point in your golf where you're picking up a 7 for the job of a 9 and wondering why you're sailing past greens - it probably means you've made some gains in clubhead and ball speed, you're more consistent and you need accurate figures for how you're hitting your clubs as of now.

"Should" is a dangerous word in golf, and this fitting provides you with a more definitive "will" do the job after you've measured your distance to the pin.

Working from your longest to your shortest irons and measuring average distance, spin and other metrics allows us to discover exactly how far you're hitting each club, and what control you have on the ball on the green or fairways. It also allows us to identify gaps in your irons.

If the distance between two clubs is too long or short, then that club and/or your bag should be adjusted to cover the gap. It's simply too risky to make the wrong club choice and adjust your swing hoping to achieve what the right club will do on a full swing.

Approaching a shot with an 'if I hit my 7-Iron this far, and my 6-Iron that far, then my 6-Iron at 75% swing should do this' is simply asking for trouble. And similarly with thinking you can overhit and Iron to gap a distance you don't have the right club for.

This gives you far more control in club selection and a much better approach to course management.

Similarly, if you've made significant progress in your game, it might be that your current iron set needs upgrading to meet your current performance; moving from 'forgiving' irons into 'game improving' irons, or into blades.

By the end of the session we will be able to provide you with recommendations on your irons and wedge set-ups that will see you knowing exactly which club you need for each difference scenario in your round.

Full Bag Fitting

The ultimate club fitting experience has just arrived.

In this session, your Club Fitting Specialist will go through your entire bag - Driver, Fairway Woods, Hybrids, Irons and Wedges and develop a custom solution personalised to your stroke across each club.

Your Specialist will have a good conversation with you at the start to understand precisely what you're aiming to achieve across each club selection. Some starter questions could include:

What are you trying to achieve?

  • Distance gains
  • Accuracy
  • Distance Gapping and Control
  • Understanding common mis-hits and remedial actions
  • Go-to shots and preferred time of use
  • Favourite and least favourite Clubs
  • Most comfortable, lowest loft Iron/favourite Iron/least favourite Iron

We'll then get you to hit some shots in our Launch Monitor where we can collect valuable data as a baseline - and then introduce different variables like Shaft Flex and Weight, Material Type (Graphite/Steel) across Irons, Iron Loft and Lie, Wedge Loft - and this will enable us to see what effect each element has on your performance.

What is custom golf club fitting? - FAQ's

Q: Does custom fitting your golf clubs make a difference?
A: Yes, absolutely. There are unique things about you and your swing - everything from your height and weight to your swing path, swing and where you strike the ball. Custom fitting allows our Specialist to find the exact products that are suited to you. You'll be blown away when you've found the right combo - that's when it really clicks.

Q: How much does it cost for custom fitted golf clubs?
A: Our fitting starts from $99 for a Driver and/or Shaft fitting. Your Specialist will work with you to find which shafts are suited to you and provide you with a recommendation on which one is best for you, your swing and your budget.

Q: How do you get custom fitted for golf clubs?
A: Easy! Just book a session with one of our Club Fitting Specialists. We offer Full Bag Fitting, Driver and/or Shaft Fitting and Longest to Shortest Irons/Wedges. Our first step is to get to know you, how often you play and what you want to get out of your game. Then we fit you by analysing the numbers from your shots in our simulator, before building your clubs.

Q: How long does a club fitting take?
A: We allow up to an hour and a half for a full bag fitting, and up to one hour for Driver/Shaft and Iron Fittings. It is important not to rush, and to make sure we've found exactly the right combination of products and options for your fit.
