  Until now, MOI has been the primary measurement companies focus on to optimise club stability and forgiveness. Cobra is the first company to talk about a lesser-known measurement called POI, which accounts for club rotation across all 3 axes (horizontal, vertical and diagonal twisting that occurs during off-centre hits). The OPTM fairway woods are the first to optimise both MOI and POI through strategic weight placement & shaping to create a super fairway wood – one that dramatically reduces gear effect to deliver tighter dispersion for longer and straighter off-centre shots.

  To optimise MOI and POI, the mass is positioned more symmetrically across the 3 key axes and tightened around the CG to minimise the club's diagonal resistance to rotation. Using A.I. Driven by simulation tools, Cobra engineers have studied millions of impact locations to gain an expert understanding of gear effect and how to determine the optimal location of the metal/mass and moveable weights in each model.

  FutureFit33 features 33 unique loft & lie settings to optimise your ball flight, minimise your miss, and maximise your distance. Loft & lie can be adjusted by +/- 2 degrees in any direction, allowing for the ultimate fine-tuned fitting customisation, while the innovative SMARTPAD® design enables the face angle to remain square regardless of the setting.
• ADJUSTABLE WEIGHTING
  The OPTM X fairway features an advanced descending weight system with 2 adjustable weights (11 g, 3 g). The 11g weight can be positioned in the back to promote higher launch and more forgiveness or in the toe for lower launch with reduced spin for a penetrating ball flight.
