The Graphite Design Tour AD IZ – “Into the Zone” Hybrid shafts, like all of the premium Tour AD shafts, utilises premium, aerospace quality carbon-fiber materials in order to deliver the best feeling and performing shaft available to golfers.

The Tour AD IZ 65g and 75g hybrid shafts have a medium stiffness starting at the handle, firm centre section and a firm tip profile to promote a mid/high launch angle and mid ball spin rates. The Tour AD IZ 85g and 95g hybrid shafts have a firm stiffness starting at the handle, firm centre section and a stiff tip profile to promote a mid-launch angle and lower ball spin rates.

The Tour AD IZ hybrid shafts are designed and manufactured at the Graphite Design Japan factory headquarters. They have a 0.370" tip size and are suitable for hybrids and Utility Clubs/Driving Irons.

  Material Stiffness Integration, MSI, is the main design concept by which Graphite Design develops its premium golf shafts. Composite materials consist of two main components: graphite fibres and resin. The stiffness of the many different fibre types that Graphite Design utilises has an impact on how the shaft profile bends in relation to the player's input during the swing.
