Cobra King LTD Driver

Every year golf companies produce tempting new products with more adjustability, different CG locations and even lighter materials. But I don't think we have ever seen anything quite like this! With the legacy of the 'King Cobra' returning with ground breaking innovations, that have never been seen before within our golf industry. Introducing the new Cobra King LDT Driver.

Cobra Golf have teamed up with The Centre for the Achievement of Science In Space (CASIS) and have introduced a new benchmark weighting systems inspired by the space stations observation platform. Welcome to the Cobra King LTD 'Spaceport'. A 16g weighting system designed with Aerospace grade aluminium dual purpose translucent material.

Usually when manufacturers design a removable weight, it consequently requires extra structures inside the driver to allow for it. Meaning unwanted weight that also effects the CG location. The spaceport does not require this, as its ' spiralock' allows for an independent removable weight on the driver head. This benefits us, as the club developers can make the head lighter and give it a pin point CG location. Removing the Spaceport weight allows you to see internally into the driver and opens the gate to the new technologies inside this groundbreaking golf club. Including the 811 titanium face, Low CG hosel and a Carbon Fiber crown.

The head is designed by a Textreme carbon fibre crown which is 20% lighter than a standard carbon fiber material to provide a lower weight deeper in the head, for an higher launching, lower spinning ball flight.

With the big weight and CG changes. Cobra was required to improve the successful E9 face technology and speed channel to adapt with the new King driver. This includes a reengineered Forged 811 titanium on the face that offers a lighter, thinner and hot face for faster ball speeds and a greater sweet spot.
