There is no confusion about the demographics of the Cobra King OS irons, as they follow on from the original King Cobra Oversized irons. These happened to be the best selling irons of the 1995-1996 seasons and assisted a lot of beginners/higher handicappers around the course. Since then, the classic head has received a huge 'face lift' to compete in the current competitive market. It has to do more than just 'go miles', be forgiving or look good to succeed. It needs to do 'it all', in one package, and this is the evolution of the Cobra King

Anyway, enough of my predictions. What makes this 'different'?

We happen to be in the company of one of the 'naughtiest' irons that Cobra Golf has ever created. They are stating, that this is the "first iron that MEETS the USGA COR limit". This meaning, that this iron is almost the equivalent of seeing a 'Keep off of the Grass' sign and then continuing to walk and stand on the edge of it, with a huge grin.

PWRshell Face Technology is responsible for the distance, forgiveness and launch. This technology lowers the CG location to aid launch and forgiveness. Also, a thinner face can be created to improve ball speeds from all over the club face.

The King OS irons have Cobra's "Largest Sweet Zone". This has been achieved by creating a head that is 12% larger than that on the previous F6 model.
