Srixon ZX Mk II Drivers, Fairways, Hybrids and Irons
Posted by GolfBox on 7th Nov 2022
It didn’t seem too long ago that Srixon introduced their fastest and best performing range of clubs, the powerhouse ZX series.
There’s little doubt the ZX range was brilliant. So how do you make it better?
In Srixon’s case, you incrementally tweak the hell out of it for two years until it exceeds every expectation. Then you tag a “Mark II” on the end of it, to signify it’s more of an update rather than a total refresh. After all, wouldn’t you rather tweak what’s needed rather than launch wildly from one design to the next?
They may share plenty of DNA with their predecessors but the new Srixon ZX MK II Drivers, Fairway Woods, Hybrids, Irons and Utilitys have definitely upped the game.
Next-level speed from the Rebound Frame makes ZX MK II Drivers a tower of power.
Long, versatile and reliable, ZX MK II Fairways and Hybrids will inspire confidence.
A DNA of tech-driven speed make ZX MK II Irons a masterpiece of performance.
Srixon ZX MK II Drivers
Good things always come in pairs so it makes sense Srixon’s ZX MK II driver range offers you two options. The ZX MK II driver offering is focused on ball speed because, well, that’s what golfers want, right?
Generating all that new ball speed is Srixon’s innovative dual zone Rebound Frame, which is like a spring within a spring. It means the ZX MKII face flexes twice before snapping back into position. And that produces an energy transfer between the driver head and ball at impact that is off-the-charts impressive.
The MK II ZX5 and ZX7 Drivers driver models provide specific tuning options to produce better shot shaping or maximum forgiveness.
Both ZX MK II drivers feature Srixon’s 12-position adjustable hosel sleeve, which tunes loft, lie angle and face angle. The drivers are fitted with a Project X HZRDUS shaft as standard.
Srixon ZX MK II Drivers Tech
Rebound Frame
A new dual rebound frame design focuses more energy into the ball at impact for extra speed & distance.
Adjustability
A variety of weight port locations across the both models allows CG shifting and a draw/fade shaping bias.
Star Frame Crown
High-strength latticework on the crown allows discretionary mass to be repositioned, optimising launch and spin.
VFT Face
Unique topography on the thinner and more flexible face boosts COR across the entire hitting area
Two ZX MK II Drivers: Choose the driver model that best suits your play style.
ZX7 MK II DRIVER
The ZX7 MK II driver is the ultimate players’ driver. It has a compact head shape and its heel and toe weight ports offer complete ball flight control via interchangeable weighting. A 4g and 8g sole weight can be swapped to produce a fade or draw, with up to six yards of biased performance – or up to 20 yards with a custom sole weighting configuration.
ZX5 MK II DRIVER
How does a high-launching and forgiving driver sound? It sounds exactly like the ZX5 MK II Driver! Srixon’s aim-and-bomb driver model is going to be popular with the masses, with its large profile sure to inspire confidence on the tee. A single 8g rear-mounted sole weight lowers CG and increases forgiveness across the entire width of the face.

SRIXON ZX MK II FAIRWAYS & HYBRIDS
When you need a bit of oomph off the tee but are too scared to unleash the big dog who do you turn to?
Or when you’re stuck for options and need a bit of versatility who do you turn to? With the release of the ZX MK II fairway and hybrid, we reckon you’ll be turning to these new fairways or hybrids.
There is some crossover tech that has found its way into ZX MK II Ffairway woods and hybrids, with the new dual Rebound Frame pumping out the same impressive speed gains found in the driver line-up.
Off the tee or from the fairway, ZX MK II fairways and hybrids will make your round a whole lot easier.

Rebound Frame
A new dual Rebound Frame design focuses more energy into the ball at impact for extra speed and distance.
Crown Step CG
A stepped fairway wood crown lowers the CG while a larger internal sole weight achieves the same outcome on ZX MK II hybrids.
Carbon Crown
ZX MK II three & five woods feature a lightweight carbon crown rather than steel, lowering CG for high-launching speed and forgiveness.
Cannon Sole
A floating weight pad in the fairway brings weight low and close to the face, optimizing launch and improving face flex and ball speed.
SRIXON ZX MK II FAIRWAY WOOD
Built to accommodate a wide variety of players, the ZX MK II fairway is an accommodating kind of club. Its strength is its highly predictable flight, which is powered by a cannon sole and carbon crown (only the three and five wood). With a 1mph ball speed gain over its powerful predecessor and near limitless versatility, things will only get better with this baby in the bag.
SRIXON ZX MK II HYBRID
Srixon ZX MK II hybrids are compact, reliable and will keep you in the game, every time! They boast a Rebound Frame-aided ball speed boost of 1.6mph, which translates nicely into distance gains on the course, and their new face radius evens out spin on shots struck high or low on the face. Now that’s what you call dependable distance and confidence-inspiring performance - from any lie, too!

SRIXON ZX MK II IRONS & UTILITY
There really is no trade-off in the ZX MK II iron line-up, with three irons sets and a utility iron range geared to provide performance that works whether you’re one of the best ball-strikers in the world… or not one of the best ball strikers in the world.
Do you want feel and control in your irons but don’t want to miss out on speed and consistency? Srixon have listened.
Wouldn’t mind a huge dose of forgiveness but not at the expense of some shot-making capabilities? Again, Srixon have you covered with class-leading tech and a feel as pure as the melting arctic snowcap.

Tour V.T. Sole
V.T. Sole features a combination of sole widths, bounce angles, and notches that helps with fairway, rough & sand interactions to help strike the ball without losing speed.
Progressive Grooves
The 3i–7i feature wide grooves, for longer shots in all conditions. The 8i–AW have deeper, closer set grooves which cut through grass to enhance spin on approach shots.
PureFrame (ZX7)
Forged with a 80% thicker portion of 1020 Carbon Steel, ZX7 PureFrame is strategically placed to delivering an enhanced impact feel for pro-level performance.
MainFrame (ZX4&5)
MainFrame is a variable thickness pattern of grooves, channels, and cavities carefully milled into the backside of the Iron face that maximizes flex at impact.
Multi-Piece (ZX5)
The ZX5’s forged SUP10 face is strong yet light for explosive distance, while a forged 1020 Carbon Steel body absorbs vibrations for great feel.
Hollow Design (ZX4)
The ZX4 hollow design is the most forgiving, offering the freedom to strike the ball across the face while still enjoying shots that launch straight and find their targets.
THREE SRIXON ZX MK II IRONS: Cover the entire bandwidth of player performance.
SRIXON ZX7 MK II IRONS
The ZX7 MK II is a single-piece muscle-back cavity iron built for playability. It’s the most compact iron in the line-up and with a thin topline, narrow sole and minimal offset it’s the choice amongst tour players and low-handicappers. Tungsten weighting in the toe provides a degree of stability but the refined PureFrame design is the heartbeat of the iron, delivering tour-level feel and incredibly responsive performance.
SRIXON ZX5 MK II IRONS
Aimed firmly at the better player segment of the game-improvement iron category, the ZX5 MK II is a two-piece iron that delivers speed, distance and a degree of workability. The second-generation MainFrame face architecture increases flex at impact for effortless distance while high density tungsten in the sole promotes stability and lowers CG to keep speed and spin consistent. A wider sole and more offset also provides reliable forgiveness.
SRIXON ZX4 MK II IRONS
Hollow-bodied distance irons have never looked this good! The ZX4 MK II is an iron that delivers game-changing performance, with its MainFrame design providing unbelievable face flex for explosive distance. And with high-density tungsten weighting lowering the CG in the mid and long irons, ZX4 MK II irons will get the ball launching high and handsome, with a level of forgiveness that makes even the most off-centre shots very attractive.
Srixon ZX MK II Utility Tech
Sole Notches
Sole notches on the heel and toe reduce the surface area that contacts the ground, providing better clubhead speed without sacrificing forgiveness.
MainFrame
MainFrame is a variable thickness pattern of grooves, channels, and cavities carefully milled into the backside of the Iron face that maximizes flex at impact.
SRIXON ZX MK II UTILITY IRONS
The Srixon ZX MK II utility just might be the high-launching long iron replacement you’ve been looking for. Its blade-like appearance features minimal offset and a narrow topline, and its MainFrame face design increases face flex at impact. In combination with its two-piece construction, it provides the speed and feel that should put you within reach of par fives in two. The ZX MK II utility is available in three lofts.
