Graphite Design Tour AD HD Shaft

The Graphite Design Tour AD HD (HYPER DRIVE) shaft profile is firm in the butt section, firm in the centre section and has a firm+ tip to promote a mid-launch angle and low to low/mid ball spin rates. Designed and manufactured at the Graphite Design Japan factory headquarters, the new Tour AD HD wood shafts are white with light blue accents and finished with a matte clear coat. They have a 0.335" tip size and are suitable for use with driver and fairway woods.

Material Stiffness Integration (MSI)

Material Stiffness Integration, MSI, is the main design concept by which Graphite Design develops its premium golf shafts. Composite materials consist of two main components: graphite fibres and resin. The stiffness of the many different fibre types that Graphite Design utilises has an impact on how the shaft profile bends in relation to the player's input during the swing. The resin not only helps to maintain the structural integrity of the shaft but also acts more like a sponge, absorbing unwanted vibrations to help create the exquisite feel that Graphite Design shafts are so well known for.
