What is SST PURE?

The SST PURE Shaft Alignment System analyses the structure of a golf shaft and identifies its most stable bending plane, or Neutral-Axis. When assembled in the clubhead in this SST PUREd orientation, the result is improved consistency from club to club.

Golf Shaft Manufacturing: The Inconsistent Reality
The manufacturing of golf shafts, even with modern technology, remains an imperfect science. Shafts are never perfectly round or even, with tiny imperfections affecting their bend and twist during a swing. This leads to shafts that don’t consistently perform as stated. The problem worsens when "identical" shafts have vastly different performance parameters, causing inconsistent results across (particularly noticeable in iron gapping).

SST PURE Shaft Analysis: The Solution
Golf shafts are not perfectly straight or round, and irregularities in their structure cause off-line bending and twisting during a golf swing, leading to increased shot dispersion and inconsistent performance. SST PURE shaft analysis can mitigate these imperfections by identifying the shaft's stiffest and most stable axis (the "Neutral Plane") and aligning the club shaft into the hosel on this plane. This minimizes the effects of inconsistent manufacturing, improving distance, tightening dispersion, and boosting consistency.
